WGR “Branding” Member Only Event a Success!

On May 20, the PACs, Politics and Grassroots Task Force hosted “Personal Branding:  Presenting the Best YOU Possible,” a professional development event designed to help those looking for a new job, or looking for ways to grow and excel in their current one.  Leadership Coach, Kathleen Schafer – Principal Founder of Leadership Connection, and Personal Branding Specialist, Marshall Brown – President of Marshall Brown and Associates, shared their tips and techniques for taking unique talents and using them as a professional “brand.”

The small group size allowed for plenty of conversation, Q&A, and practice.  Participants discussed everything from juggling different areas of life to how to fight the feeling of “is this all there is?”  Participants left with a challenge to determine their professional goals and figure out how their unique traits could get them to those goals.  One participant even got a job interview during our session!
