Event Description

Regardless of experience levels, most leaders (everyone, really) experience frustrations and challenges with certain colleagues. Colleagues’ actions don’t always make sense; the leader is certain he or she was clear, but the work product was off target. This frustration can be perversely compounded when the leader knows individual team members are smart, dedicated, and hardworking, but somehow are not leveraging their own or each other's strengths and differing problem-solving styles for the benefit of the organization.

Key takeaways from this workshop:

  • How to lead, manage, and collaborate more effortlessly with the colleagues most different from you.
  • Learn how to recognize others’ needs to be managed consistent with their own problem-solving styles.
  • Tactical skills on how to manage consistent with your report's own problem-solving styles.
  • Learn how to use coaching skills to work more collaboratively and productively, while creating a more inclusive environment.

Handouts: Participants will take the Kirton Adaption-Innovation Inventory  (KAI) is one of the world’s foremost measures for problem-solving, teamwork and creativity. Participants will be provided with The Workplace Toolkit: Actionable Approaches to People Problems which provides a framework for understanding how to create effective collaboration.

This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to understand and work more effectively with others. This includes everyone from seasoned managers to those without managerial responsibility.

Limited to 20 participants.
