WGR is the process of forming a Regulatory Affairs Task Force which will help guide organizational opportunities for regulatory affairs professionals and continue bringing innovative professional development, training, and networking ideas to our membership.
WGR is seeking both members to join this task force and volunteer leaders to serve as Co-Chairs for the group.
JOIN GROUP - Joining the group allows you to stay connected on regulatory issues with other members at events and in our online Community. Getting involved with the new Regulatory Affairs Task Force doesn’t limit your participation in other WGR task forces.
EXPRESS INTEREST IN LEADERSHIP - Raising your hand to get involved as a co-chair is a great opportunity to get more involved as a “leader” and hone your leadership skills.
Description: Regulatory Affairs Task Force
The Regulatory Affairs Task Force provides a forum for professional development, training, and networking tailored to those members engaged in working for or with executive branch agencies. By enabling an environment for WGR members to share best practices while accessing forums lead by procedural experts and practitioners the task force can serve a full range of regulatory affairs professionals. The task force hosts lunch and learns, the recurring Regulatory Training Series and coordinates the development of member resources such as “Writing Comments – Things to Think About.”
Please feel free to reach out directly to Tamra Spielvogel, WGR Secretary and Senior Program Manager with the National Association of Home Builders working on environmental regulatory affairs, if you would like to learn more or have any questions. We plan to hold the first meeting of the new task force on October 1st from 12 noon – 1:00 pm. Register here for the virtual meeting.
