Judy Schneider Fellowship Application Deadline extended to 9/17!

Established in 2015, in conjunction with WGR’s 40th anniversary, the Judy Schneider Fellowship is named in gratitude and appreciation for the immense impact Judy Schneider has had on WGR and the thousands of women she has mentored, developed, and trained through her Direct Connect to Congress education series, since 1985. The fellowship provides real life opportunities to build your professional and personal skill set as an emerging government relations professional. This year-round program is aimed at creating the next generation of talent, ethical, savvy, and passionate advocates.

To apply for the Fellowship, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• No more than three years of professional experience;
• Interest and/or experience in the government relations profession.

Due to the current virtual environment, we have amended the criteria for the 2021 Fellowship application to remove the criteria requiring applicants to be a resident of the DC metropolitan area (DC, VA, or MD).

Applicants must complete the Fellowship application by September 13, 2021 to be considered. Finalists will be contacted in October and participate in phone interviews.
