Apply for the 2023 Judy Schneider Fellowship

Established in 2015, in conjunction with WGR’s 40th anniversary, the Judy Schneider Fellowship is named in gratitude and appreciation for the immense impact Judy Schneider has had on WGR and the thousands of women she has mentored, developed, and trained through her Direct Connect to Congress education series, since 1985.

The Fellowship provides real-life opportunities to build your professional and personal skillset as an emerging government relations professional. This year-round program is aimed at creating the next generation of talent, ethical, savvy, and passionate advocates.

To apply for the Fellowship, candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Resident of the DC metropolitan area (DC, VA, or MD);
• No more than three years of professional work experience;
• Interest and/or experience in the government relations profession.

Those interested must complete the Fellowship application by September 16, 2022 to be considered. Selected candidates will be contacted for phone interviews in September and October.

• A year of membership in WGR and Toastmasters
• Free attendance to all WGR events (75+ in 2021)

• One-on-one mentoring from a member of WGR leadership
