Cassandra PrainoDDC Public Affairs Established in 2015, in conjunction with WGR’s 40th anniversary, the Judy Schneider Fellowship is named in gratitude and appreciation for the immense impact Judy Schneider has had on WGR and the thousands of women she has mentored, developed,
and trained through her Direct Connect to Congress series, since 1985. The Fellowship provides real-life opportunities to build your professional and personal skillset as an emerging government relations professional. This year-round program is aimed at creating the next generation of talented, ethical, savvy and passionate advocates. Since its inception, Judy has worked passionately to help WGR members break down the ins and outs of congressional procedure in both the Senate and House. She is a treasure trove of information and historical knowledge that ensures that every participant leaves feeling confident and empowered to be successful in their legislative agendas. Judy’s passion for professional development is a cornerstone of the Fellowship, which will provide a 360-degree professional development experience to young professionals in the early stages of their careers. Two Fellows are selected annually, immediately gaining access to all of the program benefits, including a WGR membership, free registration to all WGR events and of course, complimentary registration for Direct Connect to Congress education program. Interested in supporting the Fellowship program? Please consider making a donation to the Judy Schneider Fellowship fund to support future women government relations professionals! Deadline extended!
