Event Description
Join us for an engaging and impactful HYBRID gathering of state and local government affairs professionals at the 2025 State of the States— an event designed for state lobbyists, advocates, and policy strategists working across the country at the state and municipal levels. This convening will offer a unique space to explore the most pressing policy challenges facing states and communities, strengthen professional networks, and sharpen the skills and strategies that define effective state-level advocacy. Over the course of the event, attendees will hear from leading voices in state government, policy, advocacy, and corporate public affairs. Sessions will include panel discussions, interactive workshops and peer-led round tables. Topics will include an election update, navigating stakeholder groups/building effective coalitions, and honing your elevator pitch to elected. In addition a to substantive policy dialogue, State of the States emphasizes community-building and peer learning. Attendees will have ample opportunities to network with colleagues from across industries and geographies, share best practices, and build relationships that extend beyond the halls of their state capitols. Payment, Replacement & Refund Policy WGR event registration fees must be paid in advance. If you are unable to attend, you may send
a substitute, however you are responsible for the difference in fees if the individual is a non-member. The deadline to receive a refund is three (3) business days prior to the event. The request must be received in writing, prior to the deadline.
