PWIA Guest Blog: Engage is a sponsor of the 2022 Professional Women in Advocacy Conference.

This year’s conference celebrates 10 years of PWIA – honoring lessons in advocacy and looking to the future of women in the field. Engage is honored to partner with PWIA as we celebrate an anniversary of our own – 15 years of innovation in digital and public affairs.

At Engage, we often talk about how our core values are the backbone of our culture. Those values – Trust, Quality, Leadership, and Innovation – take on the role of company guardrails, dictating the boundary of what’s acceptable (and also what’s exceptional).

As a business owner, I’m proud to say that the majority of our senior leaders are women. These exceptional women are shaping and defining the digital space in D.C. and beyond. Our leaders are driven by initiative, embrace mentorship, are committed to self-growth, and lead by example.

More and more, as I work with clients in highly-stakes industries from bio-pharma to manufacturing, telecommunications, and technology, I’m encouraged by the growing number of women in leadership positions.

PWIA believes that when women of all backgrounds are involved at the highest levels of policy and advocacy, everyone benefits. As we celebrate 10 years of PWIA together in just a few days, I look forward to learning from this community that empowers women by fostering professional development and growth opportunities.
