REGISTRATION FAQS
Who should attend? WGR’s DEI Summit is designed for government relations, public affairs, or advocacy professionals with interest in advancing diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices within organizations and the practice of government relations. Attendees represent sectors including association/nonprofit, communications/media, consulting, corporate, government, higher education, law, and lobbying. Summit programming is geared toward policy and advocacy professionals working at the federal, state, local, an/or international levels who: determine the impact of political activities; research and craft position papers, testimony, or publications on policy or political issues; serve as official representatives on legislative or regulatory issues; manage political strategy development, dissemination, or fundraising; and develop community outreach programs. Women in Government Relations advances and empowers women by fostering a community that supports women’s leadership in government relations. People of all genders are invited to attend the DEI Summit in support of this mission. What is the cost to attend?
Are group discounts available? Yes, group discounts are available! Groups of four or more are eligible for a per-person discount. Please contact Sarah Carrillo for information on registering your group.
Are scholarships available? The registration fee has been carefully selected in order to reflect the value of the programming. If you would like to attend, but the registration fee is a barrier, scholarships are available. Please submit your request for a Summit scholarship here. Scholarships are only available to WGR members in good standing. How do I join WGR and access the member rate? You can become a WGR Member here . Once you join, the member rate will automatically apply. Please reach out to the WGR Office if you have any questions or difficulties!
It is virtual programming with an (optional) in-person reception.
What will be at the in-person reception? The in-person reception on Wednesday, May 7th in downtown Washington, DC is an opportunity to connect with other attendees, speakers, and WGR leadership. There will be light refreshments provided.
