Private Health Insurance 101 Aired on March 24, 2022. Most people in the United States access health insurance through their employer and/or through a private health insurer. The “Private Health Insurance 101” session will build on the fundamentals discussed earlier in the series by diving into how plans function administratively and how patients access care through these plans. Attendees can expect this session to also discuss the basics of Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) Plans, and how states regulate some plans. There will be ample time for questions.
