Affordable Care Act (ACA) 101

Enacted in 2010 with a host of new patient protections and an unprecedented expansion of coverage, the Affordable Care Act (ACA) fundamentally changed the health insurance landscape. This session will provide an overview of the history of the legislation, including relevant court cases and legislative developments. It will also provide an overview of the law’s patient protections, Medicaid expansion, and insurance exchanges. There will be ample time for questions.
