The Fellowship provides real-life opportunities to build your professional and personal skillset as an emerging government relations professional. This year-round program is aimed at creating the next generation of talented, ethical, savvy and passionate advocates.

Judy’s passion for professional development is a cornerstone of the Fellowship, which offers 360-degree professional development. Fellows receive a WGR membership, free registration to WGR events, and complimentary registration for Direct Connect to Congress.

The 2026 Judy Schneider application is now closed. 

Application Criteria

  • No more than five years of professional work experience
  • Interest and/or experience in the government relations profession

Process

  • Application open through September 26, 2025
  • Selected candidates are interviewed in October/November
  • Finalists are selected by November
  • Fellows announced in December at WGR's End of Year Celebration
